Thank you for taking the time to visit our Mosman restaurant  website, Afous "The Perfume of Life". Restaurateur, Omar Majdi and the Afous staff would like to welcome you to Afous to arouse all of your senses! We have opened our doors in the beginning of July 2012. We are located at 1/81 Parriwi Rd, Spit Bridge Mosman on the water with stunning views of the Middle Harbour.

Our concept is fusion of Moroccan and Spanish fine dining, to bring some of the historical "Moor" heritage back to life! "Afous" means a "hand" in the Berber tribe in Morocco. The hand in our logo symbolises the five senses: Taste, Smell, Vision, Touch and Sound. You can expect delicious, aromatic, sensual (yet casual) fine dining.

  • Champinones Al Ajillo: Pan fried mushrooms olive oil, garlic, mixed herbs finished in a white wine sauce (GF)

  • Honey Mustard Halloumi: Grilled halloumi cheese, cherry tomato, aromatic mixed berry puree and roast pine nuts (GF) 5pcs



  • Spatchcock Tajine: Baked whole spatchcock with preserved lemon, saffron thread, olives, and ginger onion sauce (GF)

  • Lamb Tajine: Slow cooked lamb shoulder in rass el hanout spices, garnished caramelised sweet onion and raisins, apricots, garnished with roast almonds sesame seeds, boil egg (GF)

  • Fish Tajine: Chermoula marinated fish fillet baked in tajine on bed of vegetables, olives and preserve lemon (GF
